“It’s back… The wolf is back in Brabant and the Netherlands. After first appearing in the far northeast and the Veluwe, wolves have now also been spotted in Brabant. This is the first time in over 100 years wolves have been seen in the country. For many it’s a welcome sight and a sign not everything is lost in this overpopulated country. What I like about wolves being back in the wild, besides being good for biodiversity, is that it makes the relatively tame forests in Brabant seem a bit wilder. It also inspires me that wolves are the center of many myths and legends and now that they are back new stories and legends will be born”.
